Humidifier bottle

Humidifier bottle for oxygen concentrators from 1-6 liters per minute replace it once every 2 weeks

How do you place a humidifier bottle in an oxygen concentrator?

Step 1: Fill the humidifier bottle with distilled water up to the fill line. ( 2 fingers is sufficient) Make sure the water level stays between the minimum and maximum fill level.

Step 2: Screw the cap back on the bottle. Be careful not to cross-tighten the cap and bottle of the humidifier as this may cause leakage.

Step 3: Attach the bottle to the concentrator.

Step 4: Attach the hose from the humidifier adapter or oxygen outlet to the wing nut at the top of the bottle.

Step 5: Attach the free end of the oxygen hose to the oxygen outlet port on the concentrator.

Step 6: Attach the nosepiece hose to the exit port on the bottle of the humidifier. Turn on the concentrator and make sure that all connections are tight to ensure that you receive the proper levels of humidified oxygen for your treatment.

DO NOT put the bottle of your humidifier in the dishwasher.

Replace disposable humidifier bottles at least every two weeks.

Make sure there are bubbles in the humidifier as soon as your concentrator is turned on. A lack of bubbles may indicate a leak or improper connection.

DO NOT use tap water in a humidifier, as this can cause mineral buildup in the concentrator. Always refill with distilled water.

DO NOT overfill the humidifier's bottle as this may damage the concentrator.

Wash the bottle of your humidifier daily to prevent the growth of harmful bacteria.
