High Flow oxygen Mask

This High Flow oxygen mask from Intersurgical® can provide oxygen concentrations of up to 80% at an oxygen flow rate of 10 to 15 l/min.

A soft, thermoplastic elastomer face seal provides greater comfort for the patient.

A curved nasal seal is designed to prevent oxygen from entering the patient's eyes. This eliminates the need for a separate metal nose clip, making the product MRI compatible.

The unique nasal seal is designed to equalize the pressure exerted on the nose as the seal adjusts to different nose shapes.

These design features together provide a better seal on the patient's face, which in turn results in higher oxygen concentrations because less ambient air enters the mask.

The elastic can be applied either above or below the patient's ears, depending on the shape of the patient's face. In the “below the ear” position, the long-term discomfort and trauma caused by elastic on the top of the patient's ears is eliminated.

A choice of “under the chin” or “on the chin” positions ensures a better fit for a wider range of patient face shapes.

Low-resistance safety vents allow the patient to breathe room air if the oxygen supply fails or is insufficient to meet peak flow requirements.

The mask material is transparent, so that the patient's nose and lips are visible. It is also rigid enough to retain its shape during transportation and use.
